Lady Gaga lehnt gleichgeschlechtliche Liebe nicht ab.
Die US-amerikanische Popröhre ('Bad Romance') hat schon vorher bekannt, bisexuell zu sein, und jetzt verraten, dass für sie Liebe und Sex zwei verschiedene Dinge seien. Sie glaubt außerdem, sich in eine Frau verlieben zu können. "Natürlich. Es gibt keine Regeln oder Grenzen, wenn es um Liebe geht", ist die Künstlerin, die für ihre exzentrischen Outfits bekannt ist, überzeugt. "Aber ich sehe Liebe getrennt von Sex. Und ich liebe nun mal die männliche Sexualität. Männer haben etwas, das ich nicht habe, aber sehr schätze", erklärt sie eindeutig zweideutig.
Die Suche nach der Liebe hilft Lady Gaga eigenem Bekunden zufolge beim kreativen Schaffensprozess. Dem Ende dieser Suche sieht die Sängerin jedoch angstvoll entgegen, da sie glaubt, ein Liebesleben, das in geregelten Bahnen läuft, könnte das Ende ihrer Karriere bedeuten. "Bei Liebe geht es immer um Gefahr, immer", betont die Pop-Blondine gegenüber dem 'Now'-Magazin. "Liebe springt von Klippen, Liebe ist irrational. Sie hält dich am Leben und sie zerstört dich. Die Suche nach Liebe ist Nahrung für eine Künstlerseele. Ich habe Angst, dass es nichts mehr geben wird, über das ich schreiben kann, wenn ich wirklich Liebe finde."
Die 23-jährige Musikerin, die bürgerlich Stefani Germanotta heißt, gesteht, sich oftmals aus Einsamkeit in die Arbeit zu stürzen. "Wenn man auf Tournee ist, dann ist man absolut auf seine Auftritte konzentriert und nimmt nicht viel Notiz von anderen Dingen. Und man verbringt viel mehr Zeit in Hotelzimmern, als viele denken. Ich komponiere dann viel, damit ich mit meinem kreativen Kern in Verbindung bleibe."
