Der New Yorker Barmann Luc Carl stand Lady Gaga - deren richtiger Name Stefani Germanotta ist - vier Jahre lang sehr nah und das Paar hat seine Romanze wieder aufleben lassen, nachdem die Sängerin letzten Monat in den 'Big Apple' zurückkehrte, um Carl zu besuchen.
Die 'Alejandro'-Sängerin wusste nicht, dass ihr Ex eine andere Frau datete, als sie nach New York kam, um Carl zu sehen. Dieser trennte sich umgehend von seiner Freundin, als er von dem Besuch der Pop-Diva hörte und ein Freund der 'Pokerface'-Sängerin führt aus: "Luc war wie der Hund, der den Knochen bekommt. Da war die berühmteste Frau der Welt und wollte seine Aufmerksamkeit und auf der anderen Seite eine heiße Blondine, die ihm in den Armen lag. Es hätte alles sehr übel enden können, aber die andere Frau verschwand in der Versenkung. Sie weiß, wie Luc ist und dass er überall eine andere Frau hat", enthüllt der Vertraute und erzählt weiter: "Gaga hat sich davon überzeugen können, dass sie Luc dieses Mal für immer zurück hat. Sie sagt, es sei ernst und dass sie nach den ganzen Fehlversuchen diesmal für immer zusammen bleiben werden."
Gaga traf den Barmann 2006, als sie im New Yorker Club St. Jerome arbeitete. Die Freundschaft der beiden wurde wiederbelebt, als die Sängerin ihn im Juni zu einem Baseballspiel der New York Mets einlud. Seitdem ist das Paar wieder 'zusammen' und die US-Musikerin ließ ihren
Freund sogar einfliegen, damit dieser sie auf ihrer 'Monster Ball'-Tour in Houston, Texas, besuchen könne.
Carls Mutter Melinda ist indes nicht begeistert von der frisch erweckten Liebe, denn die Beziehung der beiden soll beim letzten Mal unschön geendet haben. Dem 'Daily Mirror' erzählt sie: "Die Trennung war sehr hässlich. Und ich habe keine Ahnung, wie das hier enden wird. Ich habe noch nicht mit ihm über das gesprochen, was los ist. Mit diesen Beiden weiß man nie!"
